We had a fantastic response to our first ever competition for those who live in the Sinclair’s Bay area.
The competition was open to all residents of Sinclair’s Bay which runs from the Papigoe/Staxigoe area right round to Keiss including Ackergill, Reiss and the outlying areas.
We received great entries in all categories apart from the pre-school category which had no entries. They obviously haven’t seen enough of the World to see how lucky they are yet! Hopefully next time.
The theme was that anything goes – to be as creative as you liked and showcase the best of living in the Sinclair’s Bay area! We weren’t disappointed with photos, paintings, stories, and poetry all being submitted.
Thank you to everyone who took part. It wasn’t easy picking the winners, but we got there in the end. We’ve shared the entries on our Facebook page and have now created a Sinclair’s Bay: My Home gallery on the website for you to peruse at your leisure and see all the fabulous entries!
The prizes were £20 for 1st place and £10 for second. All school age entries received a runners up £5 for making the effort to take part. The winners were:
